The Testarossa Room was large, clean, and of exceptionally high quality, making our stay cozy in a nice, quiet location. Perfect for a couple getaway with good food and spot-on service, fitting well with the age of the building. The only downside was that it was a little too hot for our liking despite opening the window.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was splendid, with charming gardens and easy access to natural parks, but the room left much to be desired with a dated decor and uncomfortable bed. The dining experience had its ups and downs, offering smoked haddock but lacking in cereal choices. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

The room right in front of the stairs on the 1st floor was slightly dated in decor, but the new 24/28 jet whirlpool bath was a great perk for relaxation. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable with a sagging, lumpy mattress. The room's tired decor and maintenance issues like non-functional lightbulbs and noise from the kitchen fridge were noticeable.

However, the service lacked in customer relations, which was disappointing given my repeat visits to the hotel.
